DAY 5

This is now day 5 and we are still without power. I think I might have a nervous breakdown if the power doesn't come on soon. Today is another storm so the power company probably isn't even working today. They did lay new poles down where the old poles broke though so I guess they are getting a little closer. They said in 2 days we should be up and running unless we do get hit bad with a storm and that is what it looks like today. There are several roads west and north of here that are closed or travel not advised. I have a HUGE pile of laundry that I thought about taking to the laundry mat tonight but if the weather is bad that won't get done. I probably won't be able to get it all done this weekend cuz they will all be full of people unless I can do it in the late evening or early morning.

My friend Annette and I were planning a surprise 40th birthday party for our men that was supposed to happen last weekend but didn't because of the weather so we are shooting for this Saturday unless the weather sucks again.....which it is already on its way.......
