New wedding pics

See what happens you I finally develop film....I find pictures from June. I even had some xmas pics on one roll. Aiden took off down the aisle, Megan wouldn't go for nothing and Gracie was the only one that did what she was supposed too!

Day at the fair

We went to the Iowa State Fair on opening day. They had free admission from 5:30-8:30 a.m. They were doing a corn dog chomp and wanted to get as many people to eat a corn dog at the same time. We walked through the gate at 8:15 a.m. We didn't do the corn dog chomp and we heard that 10,000 people showed up and they had to turn people away cuz they only made 8,500 corn dogs. The line of traffic to get into the fair was slow going and I didn't think we were going to make it but we did. My plan was to stay the whole day and watch Lady Antebellum on the free stage but that didn't happen. Megan rather have me carry her than be in the stroller so when she took her nap we headed to the car. It was quite warm. We didn't even go see the animals or some of the other areas. Maybe next year!

There is also this thing at the fair for the younger kids called Little Hands on the Farm. You walk up they put an apron on, a green pioneer hat and give you a little bucket. You then go to the garden and pick a "seed" to plant. You then go plant it in the dirt and then walk over and pick the vegetable that you planted and put it in the bucket. Then you go through this building and get a bag of corn and a bag of beans and walk the path to the apple trees. Go through a chicken house and get an egg. Then you pick up an apple either from the ground or the tree and in the bucket it goes. The kids then put their bag of corn in the bucket and get a gas can and fill up their tractor and take a ride. You go through another shed a get a bag of wool. The next shed you get to milk the cow and pick up a carton of milk. After that you take your bucket full of produce to the market. Then they give you a dollar to spend at the "store". The kids can pick out bananas, apples, ice cream, granola bars, kudos bars and other things. The line was really long so Megan was starting to get tired of waiting so we skipped the milk house. She got a bomb pop to eat.
